Comfeel® Plus Transparent hydrocolloid dressings are designed to provide the benefits of moist wound healing and protection for wounds and skin at risk. These dressings are suitable for a wide range of non to low-exuding wounds, including chronic wounds like leg ulcers and pressure ulcers, as well as acute wounds such as superficial burns, donor sites, postoperative wounds, and skin abrasions. The dressing can remain in place for up to 7 days, depending on the wound's characteristics.

Mode of Action: When in contact with wound exudate, the dressing forms a viscous gel that absorbs exudate without adhering to the wound bed. Excess moisture evaporates through the semi-permeable top film, maintaining a moist healing environment.
Composition: Comfeel® Plus Transparent is made of moisture-absorbing sodium carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) particles encapsulated in a synthetic, elastic adhesive mass, with a semi-permeable polyurethane top film. It is free from pectin, latex, colophony, and animal derivatives such as gelatin.
Usage: Ideal for chronic wounds (leg ulcers, pressure ulcers) and acute wounds (superficial burns, donor sites, postoperative wounds, skin abrasions). Can be used as a primary or secondary dressing.
