The Qlicksmart SnapIT Lite ampoule opener was invented by an Australian registered nurse, Glen Riverstone, after too many on-the-job cuts from ampoules. While everyone suggested that he use a file, the edge of his T-shirt, or even tissue to open those glass ampoules, he wanted something with superior safety – something that could create an extended lever to protect his hand/fingers from the ampoule lid and hold on to the broken lid.
The SnapIT Lite Ampoule Opener eliminates the risk of cutting yourself when opening glass ampoules, removing the anxiety of working with glass ampoules. The SnapIT range is reusable and simple to use with a quick 'insert and snap' action. The SnapIT Lite is made from sturdy and high-quality plastic. It is perfect for hanging on a lanyard or clip, or for carrying in a pocket for easy, on-the-go use. A hexagonal anti-roll collar ensures the SnapIT Lite remains stable when placed on a table or trolley. Long gone are the days of opening glass ampoules with hands, gauze or paper towels!
The SnapIT Lite is designed to fit most ampoules 1mL-15mL and is compatible with ampoule diameter from 7.15mm to 9.75mm.
